At the Annual Meeting of Tuskegee Lee Baptist Association at Pepperell Baptist Church on October 18, 2022, Wayne Ivey was selected to be the Director of Missions (Associational Missionary).  He had served as interim since January, 2022. 

Wayne pastored for almost 40 years beginning while a student at Baptist College of Florida.  His first full-time church was Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Abbeville, AL (Judson Association).  From there he pastored Midway Baptist Church in Smiths Station, AL for 18 years (Russell Association).   After retiring from full-time he served at Northside Baptist in Opelika, AL (Tuskegee Lee Baptist Association).  

Wayne said he has always had an appreciation for the association and for the work done through the association.  He has been active in associational work wherever he served.
